JOY, what a lovely word for what you deliver into my life,
Yes, it is Joy, that I feel knowing the love that we share,
Complete, unique, incomparable to any other,
Abounding Joy, overflows my soul.
It is with you, that I materialize into my true identity,
Able to be so vulnerable, and open,
Thinking in the past that I would never experience love,
And yet the Joy you have shown me,
Leaves me with love in the future.
Finally to embrace in the total experience of love,
What a gift you have flooded my life with,
To know love, to have love, to feel love,
The gift of Joy in my heart.
Never to be forgotten, nor replaced,
But to carry each day, knowing there is now a future,
I have finally found that love that I always longed for,
And it was you darling, that brought that Joy into my life.
